The final few days of our Iceland road trip included a bunch more driving both through snow and a few off road adventures thanks to our GPS taking us on some ill timed “short-cuts”. We had our first big Go Pro fail when the suction cup that is “tested at up to 150 miles per hour” decided to fall off our car. Not ideal. Also not ideal was the fact that we had to drive well past the point the camera came flying off the car because there was nowhere to turn around – all’s well that ends well though right? (our little mishap was caught on camera)
Probably the biggest highlight was visiting Kirkjufell (a famous and picturesque little mountain with a waterfall conveniently placed in front of it for photos) as we drove around the Snaefellsnes peninsula. There were a few other spots that we visited but you’ll just have to check out the video below to see what else we got up to! Oh no; I was expecting more from the GoPro! Beautiful trip though 🙂
Yeah, it was a bit sad to lose the suction cup so soon! But did make for a funny memory 🙂
