Ahhh a good internet connection – you don’t appreciate it until you don’t have it!
We’ve been out in the middle of nowhere for a few days and haven’t had a strong enough internet connection to load a weather forecast let alone upload a video but we’re back in the modern world again tonight finally!
Day 3 of our Iceland road trip was a big one. There was A LOT of driving and so many sights to see. My favourite was Seljalandsfoss; a big waterfall where you can get right up close to it and walk right in behind it. It was awesome.
We also got a bit lost searching for (what we now think might be the mythical) Bruarfoss waterfall, checked out the site of the original Geysir, and explored the huge Gullfoss waterfall.
We’re in awe of how beautiful this country is and our video definitely doesn’t do it justice but hopefully it gives you a bit of an idea of what we’ve seen.
We included a bit of an outtake too so keep watching to the end if you want a giggle!
Hahaha love the end! made me laugh out loud..
cute horses
Thanks – we were struggling to keep it together. Apparently we underestimated how hard it is to talk on camera and keep a straight face! The horses are awesome eh? They all look like they have designer haircuts with colour and everything.
You guys actually sound/look pretty natural to be fair! It’s always wierd hearing ur own voice tho ha ha.
Those horses looked awesome!
I loved this video! Really well made and easy to follow. Quick question for you guys, what camera/equipment did you guys use to capture videos/photos out of curiousity. I am just really impressed with the quality.
Thanks Sue! Nearly all of the footage was shot on just a simple little GoPro 3+ although we did use Dayna’s Nikon D7000 for a shot of the Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir shot with a tripod (since we had it out already for taking photos) plus we used the Nikon for the intro bits. Now we’ve made a few more videos we’re using a Canon G7X point and shoot for nearly all our videos (although we’re still using the Gopro for anything where it might get wet). Gopro plus a good point and shoot + a tripod is a pretty good set up I think.
